How to Calculate Wallpapers Requirements

We take the example of an area of 4m x 4m room with height of the wall (from floor to ceiling) 3.5 m. The wallpaper has dimension of 10 m x 0.50 m.
Wide areas of the wall = ((length + width of the wall) x 2) x height space
= ((4m + 4m) x 2) x 3.5 m
= (8m x 2) x 3.5 m
= 16 mx 3.5 m = 56 m2.
Size 1 roll of wallpaper
= Length x width wallpaper wallpaper
= 10m x 0.50 m
= 5 m2.
Materials needed
= Area of wall / wide field of 1 roll
= 56 m2 / 5 m2
= 11, 20 rounded to 12 rolls
Then the amount of wallpaper needed as many as 12 rolls. However, to avoid shortages during installation from the cutting, you should prepare 10 percent of the existing wolume.
= 12 + (12 x 10%) = 12 + 1.2 = 13.2 rounded to 14 rolls.
By preparing 14 roll, then you have allowance, if something erroneous happen when you install it.
